Student assistant position: Trainer AI (8 working days)

To be a frontrunner in AI, BUas needs to train all staff on AI knowledge and skills. A fundamental course has been tailor-made which covers AI fundamentals, ethical considerations, and practical applications in education. About this job
Your task will be to train BUas staff members about the AI fundamentals. Together with an AI trainer, who has extensive knowledge about AI engineering and coding, you will conduct the following fundamentals trainings in May and June 2024. The training itself is already set, your presentation skills and translation to examples from BUas practice will give a personal note to these sessions.

In this position as trainer you need to be able to deal with a variety of questions from different Academies and Services, and able to deal with users with different AI proficiency.

What do we offer?

  • The salary for this position amounts to a monthly of € 2,602.80 (gross amounts based on full-time employment, for a third- or fourth-year student);
  • Your official job title will be that of student assistant; 
  • This position involves an assignment of 8 working days in total, with the possibility of adding additional days;
  • Your working days in May and June are already set (7, 14, 17 and 23 May, 4, 7 and 12 June);
  • You will be working at our modern, sustainable and high-tech campus within a vibrant, creative and dynamic environment.

What do we ask of you?

  • You have experience with and affinity with Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models (LLM);
  • You have teaching experience in higher professional education or are willing to obtain a didactics certificate;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in Dutch and English) are necessary to interact with all BUas staff from different Academies and Services;
  • You will be working in an international and intercultural setting. Therefore, having excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch are a necessity;
  • Familiarity with modern (higher) education could be to your advantage.
